I am completing my doctorate in clinical psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), where I completed my master’s degree in 2019. At McKenzie Psychology, I will be providing assessment and treatment services for individuals across the lifespan under the supervision of Dr. Sandra McKenzie.
I have completed clinical training opportunities in community, hospital, and research settings, including St. Michael’s Hospital, Reach Out Centre for Kids, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and Toronto Metropolitan’s HIV Prevention Lab. My clinical experience includes assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. I have treated individuals experiencing a wide range of challenges, such as interpersonal difficulties, learning disabilities, difficulty coping, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, and depression.
When providing treatment, I work with patients to define goals that are meaningful to them. I work predominantly from a cognitive-behavioural perspective, though I strive to integrate other therapeutic approaches depending on my patients’ needs. I aim to create a treatment experience that is genuine, non-judgemental, and concretely helpful.
