I am a master’s level clinician providing both intervention and assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults at McKenzie Psychology under the supervision of Dr. Sandra McKenzie and Dr. Fiona Meek. I completed my master’s degree in clinical psychology, with a specialization in neuropsychology, at the University of Windsor in 2022. Currently, I am completing a period of supervised post-master’s work experience as required by the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) to become registered as a psychological associate in supervised practice.
I was trained from a lifespan perspective, and during my placements and prior work experience I enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of complex concerns. I have worked with patients in community agencies, school settings, and private practices where I have been trained extensively in psychological assessment as well as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I have also received training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), play therapy, and attachment-based intervention.
In my psychotherapy practice, I aim to create a safe and nonjudgemental space, meeting my patients where they are and using evidence-based techniques to help them address emotional and interpersonal challenges, create meaningful change, and build a life worth living. When conducting psychoeducational assessments, I approach my patients from a strength-based lens. I leverage my extensive training in neuropsychological assessment to provide patients and their families with a better understanding of their strengths and abilities and how they can be best supported.
